Megatron

Megatron is the founder and fearsome leader of the Decepticons. A powerful, ruthless, and brilliant military strategist, he is driven by an unyielding desire to conquer Cybertron and the wider universe, believing that peace can only be achieved through absolute tyranny. This version of the character is depicted surging with the power of Dark Energon, a malevolent substance that corrupts and amplifies his already formidable strength.

Released in September 2026, Dark Energon Megatron was distributed as part of the special "Energon Capsule" collection within the wider Age of the Primes toyline. This figure was a general retail release and was not exclusive to any specific retailer.

• Voyager Class figure stands 6.75 inches (17 cm) tall in robot mode.
• Cast in translucent purple plastic with a unique white line deco to simulate a Dark Energon power surge.
• Features compatibility with the Dark Energon Cybertronic figure (sold separately), which splits into 6 armor pieces.
• Includes weapon accessories that can be held or mounted in both robot and vehicle modes.
• Features extensive articulation for a wide range of display poses.

• Cybertronian Tank
• Robot

As part of a themed capsule collection, this figure's appeal is primarily for completists of the Age of the Primes line and collectors who appreciate stylized variants. Its translucent plastic and unique deco make it a visually distinct piece, but as a general retail release of a popular character, it is not considered rare. Its value on the secondary market is likely to remain close to its original retail price, making it an accessible pickup for Megatron fans rather than a high-demand investment.
