Meltdown (Ultraviolet)

Meltdown is a hermit crab-based unit belonging to the Waverox faction. This special variant has a unique energy signature, causing its translucent purple shell and body to fluoresce with a vibrant, hazardous-looking glow when exposed to ultraviolet light.

Released in November 2023, BB-16MD Meltdown was a special limited edition sold in blind-box packaging. Collectors had a chance of receiving either this Ultraviolet (MDUV) version or a separate Glow-in-the-Dark (MDGID) variant. This package includes a mini UV flashlight to activate the figure's signature gimmick, a character card, and a unique black 'Box Charger'.

As one of two variants from a special limited edition blind-box release, the UV Meltdown is a desirable chase figure for BeastBox collectors. This Ultraviolet (UV) version was released alongside a green Glow-in-the-Dark (GID) variant in the same blind-box assortment. The two figures feature different light-reactive properties.
