About Great White
Background, key features and collector notes for this figure
Background
A member of the aquatic Waverox faction, Great White is a sleek and powerful predator. It patrols the oceans with lethal efficiency, using its powerful jaws and streamlined form to hunt its targets. This figure represents the modern descendant of the prehistoric beast that inspired the BB-17 Megalodon.
Key Features
- Transforms from a shark to a 5cm cube in 20 steps
- Highly articulated shark mode with an opening jaw
- Constructed from opaque white plastic with translucent blue fins and joints
- Features built-in storage for its accessories
Release Notes
Released in May 2021, BB-17GW Great White was a general retail release. The figure is packaged in a standard BeastBox window box and includes a transparent 'Box Charger' storage case, instructions, a character card, and two detachable accessories.

Collectibility
As a retool of the BB-17 Megalodon mold, Great White appeals most strongly to BeastBox completists. It was a standard, widely-available release without any exclusivity, making it relatively easy to find on the primary and secondary markets. While a solid figure, it doesn't command the high aftermarket prices of rarer releases and is a common entry in many collections.
