About BeastBox 3rd Anniversary (Dio, 2019) Collectible Coin
Background, key features and collector notes for this figure
Background
This collectible coin commemorates the third anniversary of the 52Toys BeastBox line in 2019. It features a high-relief embossed sculpt of the original BB-01 Dio, the iconic Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton that launched the series. One side displays Dio, while the reverse features the BeastBox logo and anniversary text.
Key Features
- Commemorative 3rd Anniversary item
- High-relief embossed sculpt of BB-01 Dio
- Solid metal construction with an antique finish
- Limited promotional pack-in item
Release Notes
Released in 2019, this coin was not sold separately at retail. It was an extremely limited promotional item, included as a pack-in with the first production run of the BB-09SR Sonic Ripple figure, which was originally a San Diego Comic Con exclusive.
Collectibility
As a promotional item bundled exclusively with the first run of an SDCC-exclusive figure, this anniversary coin is exceptionally rare. Its scarcity makes it a highly sought-after piece for dedicated BeastBox completionists, often proving harder to find than many of the main-line figures themselves.
