Collaborations - Jem & the Holograms - KISS Players: KP Sundor
Background, key features and collector notes for this figure
KP Sundor is an Autobot spy who takes the form of a robotic condor. Unlike his more sinister Decepticon counterparts, Sundor is often depicted as good-natured and friendly, harnessing the power of the sun for his energy-based attacks. This version of the character is part of a unique and unexpected crossover, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the controversial Kiss Players sub-line by teaming up with fellow cassettes Rosanna and Glit in a set also referencing the classic cartoon Jem and the Holograms.
Announced as part of the Transformers Collaborative line, this 20th Anniversary Kiss Players 3-pack is slated for release in April 2027. The set, which also includes KP Rosanna and KP Glit, features original packaging with Japanese-language instructions and a Japanese-language character card, reflecting its Takara Tomy origins.

Ratings and thoughts from collectors who own KP Sundor
This figure is a highly specialized collector's item targeting a very specific niche: fans of the controversial Japanese Kiss Players line and obscure G1 characters. The inclusion of new art by original character designer Yuki Oshima is a significant draw for this target audience. While the unusual crossover with Jem and the Holograms adds a layer of novelty, the polarizing nature of the Kiss Players brand may limit its mainstream appeal, making it a curious but potentially valuable piece for dedicated collectors.
