Collaborations - Transformers x Street Fighter: Megatron
Background, key features and collector notes for this figure
The tyrannical leader of the Decepticons, Megatron seeks total domination of the universe and the destruction of the Autobots. Cunning, ruthless, and possessing immense power, he will stop at nothing to achieve his goals. In this crossover, Megatron takes on the persona of the villainous M. Bison, the calculating and power-mad leader of the Shadaloo crime syndicate from Street Fighter II, complete with his iconic peaked cap and Psycho Power.
This Megatron figure was released in November 2022 as part of the Transformers x Street Fighter II collaboration. It was not sold individually, but was exclusively available in a two-pack alongside an Optimus Prime figure decorated as the character Ryu. The set saw a general retail release and did not include any pre-order bonuses.

Ratings and thoughts from collectors who own Megatron
As a niche crossover item, this figure's appeal is primarily for dedicated fans of both Transformers and Street Fighter. While the M. Bison deco is well-executed, the figure is a redeco of the common Titans Return Blitzwing mold, which may deter collectors seeking original designs. Due to the set's mixed critical reception, it is more of a fun novelty piece than a high-demand item on the secondary market.
Being a redeco of the Titans Return Blitzwing mold, this figure may share its common quality control issues, including a loose waist swivel and difficulty getting the jet cockpit to tab securely into the chest in robot mode.
