Optimus Prime

The noble and compassionate leader of the Autobots, Optimus Prime is a legendary warrior dedicated to protecting the innocent and fighting for freedom across the universe. He carries the Autobot Matrix of Leadership, a symbol of his authority and a conduit for the wisdom of past leaders. Throughout his long war with the Decepticons, he has always stood as a beacon of hope.

Released in May 2014, this figure was part of the Dinobot Warriors assortment within the Transformers: Construct-Bots line. It was a general retail item available in a window box that showcased the parts for both Optimus Prime and his Dinobot companion, Gnaw.

Like many figures in the Construct-Bots line, the ball joints can become loose over time with repeated assembly and play, potentially compromising the stability and posability of the figure.
