Grimlock

Grimlock is the fearsome and powerful leader of the Dinobots. Often challenging Optimus Prime's authority, he values strength and courage above all else. Despite his rebellious nature and primal rage, Grimlock is a steadfast Autobot warrior who can always be counted on to pulverize Decepticons on the battlefield.

Released in August 2014 as a flagship set for the Construct-Bots line, which tied into the Transformers: Age of Extinction movie. This large set was a general retail release and came packaged with a small, non-transforming Optimus Prime figure designed to ride on Grimlock's back.

The Construct-Bots line was a commercial failure and is not sought after by most mainline Transformers collectors. While Dinofire Grimlock was one of the largest and most feature-rich sets in the line, it holds very little value on the secondary market. It is primarily of interest to completionists of the niche Construct-Bots series or fans of building toys in general.

Like many figures in the Construct-Bots line, the friction of the ball joints can be inconsistent, leading to limbs that are either too loose to hold a pose or overly tight. The overall stability of the built figure can be lacking compared to other construction toy systems.
