Shockwave

The Decepticon Military Operations Commander, Shockwave is governed by one thing: pure, cold logic. Utterly ruthless and brutally efficient, he serves Megatron's cause with a devotion born from scientific certainty, often left in charge of Cybertron during the long war. His single, glowing optic and powerful laser cannon arm are iconic symbols of Decepticon might and terrifying intellect.

Released in December 2013, Shockwave was part of the Elite Class assortment in Hasbro's Transformers: Construct-Bots line. The figure came disassembled in a box, with parts on a frame that needed to be clipped out and built. It was a general retail release with no known exclusivity.

• Buildable figure with 59 pieces
• Parts are interchangeable with other Construct-Bots figures for custom creations
• Includes his signature laser cannon accessory
• Features a posable skeletal frame with clip-on armor pieces

• Cybertronian Spaceship
• Robot

The Construct-Bots line is generally considered a niche series and is not highly sought after by mainstream Transformers collectors. As a result, this Shockwave figure is very affordable on the secondary market. While the character is popular, this version is primarily of interest to completists or fans of building-toy systems rather than being a key collectible.

Like many figures in the Construct-Bots line, the ball joints can become loose over time with repeated play and disassembly.
