Smokescreen

Smokescreen is a clever and talkative Autobot strategist, renowned for his ability to create diversions and confusion on the battlefield. Using his namesake smoke clouds and disarming charm, he excels at misdirection, often outmaneuvering Decepticons by making them look the wrong way at the most critical moment. Though sometimes seen as a bit of a gambler, his plans usually pay off for the Autobot cause.

Released in December 2013, this Elite Class version of Smokescreen was part of the Transformers: Construct-Bots line. The figure was sold in a box containing parts on a frame, which required assembly by the user before it could be transformed or played with. It was a general retail release with no known exclusivity.

• Buildable figure requires assembly from included parts frames
• Transforms from robot to vehicle without disassembly
• Customizable parts are compatible with other figures in the Construct-Bots line
• Includes a rifle accessory

• Cybertronian Car
• Robot

The Construct-Bots line was not a major success with most mainstream collectors, and figures from the series generally do not hold significant value on the secondary market. Smokescreen is fairly common and can be acquired inexpensively. While finding a sealed or complete loose copy can be a minor challenge due to the many small, easily-lost parts, overall demand is low.

The figure's ball joints can sometimes be loose, leading to poor stability and poseability. Due to the parts-based construction, individual components are very easy to lose if the figure is disassembled.
