Hangnail

Hangnail is a vicious, skeletal Dinobot warrior allied with the Decepticons. He serves as the savage robotic beast partner to the deadly bounty hunter, Lockdown. True to his predatory nature, Hangnail is a relentless hunter, capable of functioning independently or merging with his master to become an even greater force of destruction.

Released in May 2014, Hangnail was packaged as part of the Dinobot Warriors assortment alongside the Lockdown figure. This set, "Construct-Bots: Lockdown with Hangnail," was a general retail release with no known exclusivity or special pre-order bonuses.

The Construct-Bots line was not a major commercial success and is generally not highly sought after by mainstream collectors. Due to the nature of the toys, figures are often found incomplete on the secondary market. Consequently, this set holds little aftermarket value and is primarily of interest to line completists or fans of buildable figures.

The ball joints used across the Construct-Bots line can be prone to becoming loose over time, particularly with repeated assembly and disassembly. The numerous small parts are also very easy to lose.
