Lockdown

Lockdown is a ruthless and efficient bounty hunter who works for the highest bidder, though he is aligned with the Decepticons for this mission. Famous for collecting trophies and parts from his defeated targets, he is a feared presence on the battlefield. This version of Lockdown is accompanied by his cyber-canine-like Dinobot partner, Hangnail, who assists him in tracking and capturing his prey.

Released in May 2014, this figure was part of the "Dinobot Warriors" assortment within the Transformers: Age of Extinction Construct-Bots line. It was a general retail release with no known exclusivity or pre-order bonuses. The figure was packaged with its Dinobot partner, Hangnail.

The Construct-Bots line was aimed at a younger audience and was generally not popular with adult collectors, who preferred traditional transformers. Like many figures in the Construct-Bots line, the ball joints can become loose over time, compromising poseability. Due to the modular, parts-based nature of the toy, loose examples are very frequently missing pieces.
