Megatron

Megatron is the ruthless and tyrannical leader of the Decepticons. Driven by an insatiable lust for power, he seeks to conquer Cybertron and the universe, believing that peace can only be achieved through oppression. He is the eternal arch-nemesis of Optimus Prime, and their ancient conflict forms the core of the Autobot-Decepticon war.

Released in July 2013, this version of Megatron was sold as part of the "Optimus Prime vs Megatron" Ultimate Class 2-pack. The figure was a general retail release and was not exclusive to any specific store or region.

The Construct-Bots line was aimed at a younger audience and did not find strong footing with adult collectors, who often preferred traditional transforming figures. As a result, this Megatron is not highly sought-after and generally holds low value on the secondary market. It's an easy and inexpensive figure to acquire for those specifically interested in the Construct-Bots gimmick or completing the line.

The ball joints used for articulation can become loose over time with repeated play, potentially affecting the figure's ability to hold poses.
