Strafe is one of the Dinobots, a powerful sub-group of Autobot warriors who transform into prehistoric creatures. Fiercely loyal to his comrades, Strafe is a formidable aerial combatant, easily recognizable by his unique two-headed dragon form. He combines the raw power of a Dinobot with impressive speed and agility in the air.
Released in April 2014, Dinobot Strafe was part of the Scout Class assortment in the Transformers: Construct-Bots line. The figure was a general retail release and came packaged in a clamshell with its parts stored in a reusable plastic tray.
The Construct-Bots line was aimed at a younger demographic and never found a strong following with adult collectors, who often preferred traditional transformation schemes. Consequently, Strafe is not highly sought-after and holds very little value on the secondary market. It is primarily of interest to completists of the line or those nostalgic for its unique building-block gimmick.
Like many figures in the Construct-Bots line, the ball joints can become loose over time, affecting poseability. Due to the nature of its construction, small parts are easily lost if disassembled.
