Scorn is a powerful and destructive warrior, serving as the Dinobots' demolition specialist. He transforms into a ferocious mechanical dinosaur, using his powerful tail and sharp blades to tear through Decepticon ranks. Though often portrayed as a wild force of nature, he is a loyal combatant for the Autobot cause.
Scorn was released in May 2014 as part of the Scout Class for the "Transformers: Age of Extinction" Construct-Bots line. The figure came disassembled in a blister pack with instructions, allowing builders to construct the robot and its alternate modes. It was a mass retail release with no known exclusives.
The Construct-Bots line was generally poorly received by the core collector community, who favored traditional transformation over the line's building-toy gimmick. Consequently, figures like Scorn are not sought after and have very low value on the secondary market. It is primarily of interest to completists of the movie line or fans of construction toys rather than mainstream Transformers collectors.
Common to the Construct-Bots line, the figure's ball joints are known to be loose, resulting in a floppy figure that can be difficult to pose and keep stable.
