Thundercracker

Thundercracker is one of the original Decepticon Seekers, an elite aerial warrior serving under Megatron. He is a master of flight, capable of producing controlled sonic booms powerful enough to disorient and deafen his enemies. Unlike many of his ruthless comrades, Thundercracker is often depicted as having a conscience, sometimes questioning the cruelty and necessity of the Decepticon cause.

Thundercracker was released in October 2013 as part of the Scout Class for Hasbro's Transformers: Construct-Bots line. The figure came with its components attached to a plastic frame within a bubble on a cardback, allowing the owner to build the figure themselves.

• Buildable figure that you assemble from a parts frame.
• Features 5mm compatible ports and parts that can be interchanged with other Construct-Bots figures.
• Includes two rifle accessories.

• Cybertronian Spaceship
• Robot
• General

As a small, simplified figure from the short-lived and generally unpopular Construct-Bots line, this version of Thundercracker holds little interest for most collectors. The line was aimed at a younger demographic and its building-block gimmick did not resonate with the adult fandom. This figure is a simple redeco of the Starscream mold, is widely available, and commands a very low price on the secondary market.

The ball-joint construction common to the Construct-Bots line can lead to loose limbs and a general lack of stability, making the figure feel flimsy and difficult to pose securely.
