One of the most trusted of Optimus Prime's lieutenants, Bumblebee is an Autobot scout renowned for his courage, loyalty, and connection with his human allies. While not the largest or strongest Autobot, his bravery is unquestionable. This version of the character is a Triple Changer, granting him expanded versatility with two distinct alternate modes for navigating varied terrain and engaging in aerial combat.

Released in July 2013, this figure was part of Hasbro's Transformers: Construct-Bots line. It was a general retail release with no known store exclusives or pre-order bonuses. The figure came disassembled in its packaging, allowing for a building experience similar to other construction toy lines.
