Grimlock

Grimlock is the powerful and fearsome leader of the Dinobots. Often challenging Optimus Prime's authority with his own brand of brutal logic, he believes strength is the only thing that truly matters. Despite his rebellious nature and simple speech patterns, Grimlock is a courageous and loyal Autobot warrior who can always be counted on in a fight.

Announced for an April 2027 release, this Grimlock figure is part of the Takara Tomy Transformers Dramatic Capture Series. It will be packaged in a two-figure set alongside a Ratchet figure, designed to recreate their encounter from the Generation 1 cartoon episode "Dinobot Island: Part 1." The set will feature original Japanese-language packaging and instructions.

• Features premium metallic paint applications
• Includes Grimlock's sword, blasters, and flame-effect parts
• Highly articulated for dynamic posing and display
• Screen-accurate deco inspired by the G1 animated series
• Packaged as a set with a G1-inspired Ratchet figure

• T. Rex
• Robot

As part of the collector-focused Dramatic Capture Series, this set is aimed squarely at adult fans of the original G1 cartoon. The premium finish, extensive accessories, and scene-specific pairing make it highly desirable for collectors who prioritize screen accuracy. While it is a mainline Takara Tomy release, these specialized sets often have smaller production runs and can become sought-after on the secondary market, particularly among Masterpiece and Studio Series collectors.
