Doom-Lock is a Decepticon Terrorcon released in 2004 as part of the Transformers: Energon toy line. He is a color-swapped version of the earlier Cruellock figure, representing the mass-produced drone soldiers that served as primary antagonists in the Energon animated series.

Key Features:

• Energon Star: Includes a translucent green "Energon Star" that can be pegged onto various points on the figure's body.
• Energon Weapon: Comes with a large translucent green blade that can be held as a sword or attached to the tail/back.
• Powerlinx Compatibility: Features 5mm ports and pegs, allowing his weapon to be used by larger figures or combined with other Terrorcon accessories.

• Dinosaur Mode: Based on a stylized, mechanical raptor (resembling a Deinonychus or Velociraptor). It features a hunched posture, mechanical detailing, and a large blade that forms the tip of the tail.

Collectibility

Collectors value Doom-Lock for his excellent articulation and his role as an "army builder" figure, as the character was a generic drone in the TV series. While he is a redeco of Cruellock, many fans prefer his darker green and brown color palette for its more "natural" reptilian appearance. Collectors should be wary of missing accessories, particularly the small Energon Star, and check for stress marks on the translucent plastic weapon handle.
