G1 - Action Masters: Action Master Axer
Background, key features and collector notes for this figure
Axer is a cold and methodical Decepticon bounty hunter, motivated purely by profit. He is a lone wolf by nature, using his Off-Road Cycle to relentlessly stalk his targets across any terrain. His loyalty is only to the highest bidder, making him a dangerous and untrustworthy element on the battlefield.
Released in 1990 as part of the Generation 1 Action Masters series, Axer was packaged on a blister card with his partner vehicle. This sub-line was notable for featuring non-transforming but highly articulated robot figures. Axer was a standard retail release in the United States.
Action Masters are a niche but dedicated corner of G1 collecting. Axer is one of the more common figures from the line, making him relatively affordable. His value is almost entirely dependent on the presence and condition of his Off-Road Cycle and its small, easily lost accessories. While not a high-demand character, he is essential for collectors aiming to complete the G1 or Action Masters lineups.

Ratings and thoughts from collectors who own Axer
The small laser pistol and the two cannons for the cycle are very frequently lost, and finding a complete, unbroken specimen can be challenging. The chrome on the cycle's engine block can be prone to wear and flaking over time.
