G1 - Action Masters: Action Master Bumblebee
Background, key features and collector notes for this figure
One of the smallest but bravest Autobots, Bumblebee is a friendly and resourceful spy. He functions as a scout, using his small size to go where larger bots cannot. Bumblebee is particularly fond of humans and has often been the first to befriend them, acting as a loyal protector and companion.
Released in 1990, Action Master Bumblebee was part of the controversial Generation 1 Action Masters sub-line, which featured non-transforming but highly articulated figures. He was sold individually on a blister card typical for the series.
Action Masters are a niche category; while disliked by some for their lack of transformation, they are prized by others for their robot-mode accuracy. Bumblebee is a popular character, but his value is heavily tied to completeness. Finding a figure with its easily-lost Heli-Pack accessory is key, and sealed examples command a premium among G1 collectors.

Ratings and thoughts from collectors who own Bumblebee
As with many figures from this era, paint wear is common, particularly on the face and Autobot symbol. The joints can also become loose with play and time.
