G1 - Action Masters: Action Master Devastator
Background, key features and collector notes for this figure
Devastator is the colossal combined form of the six Decepticon Constructicons. A being of immense physical power but severely limited intelligence, Devastator is less a sentient warrior and more a walking engine of destruction. He follows orders with single-minded brutality, using his overwhelming strength to pulverize anything, or anyone, that stands in his way.
Released in 1990, Action Master Devastator was part of the final years of the original Generation 1 toyline. The Action Masters sub-line controversially removed the transformation gimmick in favor of enhanced articulation, similar to other action figures of the era. This figure represents the combined character, but does not separate into individual robots.

Ratings and thoughts from collectors who own Devastator
Action Masters are a polarizing series for collectors due to their lack of transformation. However, Devastator is a notable figure within the line as he is a major A-list character. While not exceptionally rare, finding a complete, unbroken figure with his Scorpulator partner and its accessories can be challenging and is key to its value. He is generally sought after by G1 completionists and those with a nostalgic fondness for the Action Masters sub-group.
Like many figures from this era, paint wear is common, especially on the chest and face. The joints can become loose over time, affecting the figure's ability to hold poses. The Scorpulator accessory is small and its parts, particularly the tail/barrel, can be easily lost or broken.
