About Black Hook
Background, key features and collector notes for this figure
Background
Captain Black Hook is the formidable leader of the Black Hook Crew. His personal rule is to never lose a target once he has set his sights on it, making him a persistent and dangerous foe for Jun, Blue Cop, and their allies. He and his crew can appear anywhere at any time, keeping their opponents constantly on guard.
Key Features
- Figure stands approximately 8.5 inches (21.5cm) tall in robot mode.
- Includes a Metal Card accessory that transforms into the Captain's Cannon.
- Features multiple points of articulation for dynamic posing.
Release Notes
Released in August 2023, Black Hook was initially distributed as a South Korea regional exclusive. This can make the figure more challenging to acquire for collectors in other markets. The figure comes packaged in a standard window box for the Metal Cardbot line.
Alt Modes
- Pirate Ship
- Robot
Collectibility
As a South Korea-exclusive release, Black Hook's primary collectibility driver is its regional scarcity. While the Metal Cardbot line is not as globally prominent as some other transforming robot brands, this figure is a key character and may be sought after by dedicated fans of the series or collectors specializing in Korean mecha. Its availability outside of Korea is limited, making it a notable find for international collectors.
