Ratchet

Ratchet is the Autobots' chief medical officer, a brilliant doctor who can repair almost any injury his comrades suffer in battle. Despite his often-gruff and cantankerous demeanor, he is deeply committed to preserving life and is an essential member of the team. He famously transforms into an ambulance, a fitting form for his role as a medic.

Announced as part of Takara Tomy's collector-focused Missing Link series, C-15 Ratchet is slated for a January 2027 release. The figure will be presented in packaging that evokes the style of the original 1984 Generation 1 toy line, complete with Japanese-language instructions and a collectible character card.

• Features a dual-mode robot form, with both an anime-accurate appearance and a 'Respect Mode' that emulates the original 1984 toy.
• Highly articulated for a wide range of dynamic poses.
• Includes chrome-plated laser and spanner accessories, plus a rocket runner and a miniature human figure.
• Features a heat-sensitive Autobot emblem that reveals its design with warmth.

• Ambulance: Nissan Cherry Vanette
• Robot
• Robot: Respect Mode
• Gun Emplacement

As part of the highly-anticipated Missing Link line, which aims to create definitive versions of G1 characters, this figure is expected to be in high demand among nostalgic collectors. Its unique engineering, offering both an anime-accurate and a toy-accurate robot mode in one figure, is a major selling point that sets it apart from previous releases. Given its status as a new mold for a core G1 character, it is likely to hold or increase its value on the secondary market.
