Terrastorm

Gigastorm is the self-proclaimed Decepticon 'Dinosaur Commander' from the Japanese Beast Wars II animated series. A powerful reinvention of the G1 city-former Trypticon, Gigastorm is immensely strong but often portrayed as simple-minded, preferring to lead his troops with overwhelming brute force.

Announced as part of Takara Tomy's premium 'New Legends' collector line, NL-04 Gigastorm is slated for release in December 2026. The figure is packaged with its Headmaster partner, Terrastorm, and a full arsenal of accessories. No retailer exclusivity or pre-order bonuses have been announced for this release.

• Partner figure Terrastorm transforms to become Gigascouter's head.
• Interactive dino mode features horns that unfold when the Headmaster is attached.
• Hidden Angolmois Bomb feature is revealed via the Headmaster gimmick.

• Headmaster
• Robot

As a large, high-priced figure of a niche character from a Japan-exclusive series, Gigastorm is aimed squarely at dedicated collectors. This modern update to a classic mold is likely to be a sought-after centerpiece, appealing to both G1 and Beast Wars enthusiasts. Figures of this scale and price point often see limited production runs, suggesting it will hold or increase its value on the secondary market, especially if the New Legends line is well-received.
