About Shockwave
Background, key features and collector notes for this figure
Background
A dark mirror to the heroic Autobot leader, Nemesis Star Convoy is a jet-black version of the reborn Optimus Prime from the finale of the Japanese Generation 1 continuity. This release casts the powerful commander as a Decepticon, embodying destruction and tyranny. The set pairs him with a core-class version of Shockwave, the Decepticons' master of logic and military science, creating a formidable command duo.
Key Features
- A comprehensive set including the main Nemesis Star Convoy figure and a Core Class Shockwave.
- Core Class Shockwave also triple-changes between robot, a Cybertronian spaceship, and a weapon that Nemesis Star Convoy can wield.
- Includes 14 accessories to outfit both figures.
Release Notes
Announced as part of Takara Tomy's "New Legends" line, Nemesis Star Convoy is slated for a November 2026 release. It is designated NL-03 in the series. No retailer or regional exclusivity has been announced, suggesting this will be a general retail release.
