As the inaugural Optimus Prime in the new collector-focused Overgear series, this figure is aimed at the high-end market, prioritizing hyper-realism over cartoon accuracy. Its appeal will be strongest for collectors who favor intricate, real-world vehicle modes similar to the Alternators or Masterpiece Movie Series lines. Being an entirely new mold of a popular character in a premium line suggests strong initial interest, though its long-term value will depend on the reception and continuation of the Overgear series.
