Ratings and thoughts from collectors who own Blitzwing
As a mainline Leader Class figure of a core G1 character, Blitzwing is a popular purchase for army builders and character-focused collectors. However, the figure received a mixed reception; while the robot and tank modes are generally well-regarded, the jet mode is widely seen as heavily compromised by visible kibble. Its wide availability at general retail means it is not scarce and does not command a premium on the secondary market.
Some copies suffer from parts not tabbing together securely, most notably the two halves of the jet mode's nosecone. The fit and finish on some of the panels can be inconsistent.
