Megatron

The founder and supreme leader of the Decepticons, Megatron is a ruthless and brilliant military commander. Once a gladiator who fought for the liberation of the oppressed, his methods became increasingly tyrannical as he waged an endless war against the Autobots, seeking to conquer Cybertron and the universe in the name of a twisted sense of order.

Announced as part of the new Transformers Icons series, this Voyager Class Megatron is slated for a December 2026 release. This figure introduces a unique concept to the line, offering a display-focused collectible for fans of the Decepticon cause. As a general retail release, no exclusivity has been announced.

• Voyager Class figure stands 6.75 inches (17 cm) tall in robot mode.
• Features multiple points of articulation for display-worthy poses.
• Includes his signature blaster accessory.
• Comes with a display stand designed for its symbol mode.

• Faction Symbol
• Robots

As a new mold in the debuting 'Icons' line, this figure's primary appeal is its novel transformation into the Decepticon faction symbol, a departure from Megatron's typical alt-modes. While mass retail releases of core characters are rarely scarce, the unique display-oriented gimmick could make it a desirable piece. Its long-term value will likely depend on the overall reception and success of the Icons line.
