Forum rules
The forum is for collectors to talk figures. These rules are part of the Terms of Service (section 9).
The rules
- Be respectful and civil. No harassment, bullying, hate or personal attacks
- Stay on topic for the board and contribute constructively
- No spam, scams, or advertising outside the boards meant for it
- Don't post other people's personal information
- Only post images you took yourself or have the right to share (Terms section 6.6)
- Nothing illegal, and nothing listed in Terms section 5.1
New posts
To keep spam out, a new member's first 3 posts wait for a moderator to approve them, and so does any post with a link to another website. Until then only you and the moderators can see it. Links to BotCollector pages never need approval. There is also a limit on how many posts and threads each account can make an hour, and new accounts pass a quick security check when they post on their first day.
Reporting a post
If a post breaks these rules, use its Report button and choose a reason. Nobody but you is shown who sent a report, the post's author included. We email you what we decided. To report content you believe is illegal without an account, email privacy@botcollector.app with a link to the post (Terms section 9.5).
What moderators do
BotCollector staff and trusted volunteer moderators can remove posts and threads, warn members, lock, pin or move threads, and suspend members from posting for a while or until lifted. A suspended member can still read the forum and delete their own posts.
When a moderator removes something you posted, warns you or suspends you, we email you what happened and why, and it appears on your forum notices page. If you think a moderator got it wrong, reply to that email or write to privacy@botcollector.app and someone else will look again.
