Strongarm is a member of the Omnicons, a specialized subgroup of Transformers introduced in the Transformers: Energon series who are responsible for mining and refining raw Energon. This figure was released in late 2003 as part of the first wave of the Energon Class (formerly known as Basic Class) assortment.
Key Features:
Strongarm is highly regarded by collectors as one of the most "solid" and well-proportioned scout-class figures of the Unicron Trilogy era, boasting excellent articulation for its size. While the character is a generic "army builder" in the animated series, the mold is considered a success and was frequently reused for later releases like Checkpoint and various movie-line scouts. Collectors should be aware that while the figure is durable, the translucent red plastic used for the weapons can occasionally suffer from stress marks if the joints are forced, and the figure lacks the "Powerlinx" combination gimmick found in the larger Deluxe-sized figures of the line.
