Skyboom is a member of the Energon Saber Team, a trio of Mini-Cons released in 2003 as part of the Transformers: Energon toy line. This figure is a translucent "Energon-enhanced" redeco of the original Armada Skyboom, designed to represent the character's increased power levels.

While the translucent blue plastic is visually striking and fits the Energon series aesthetic, collectors should be wary of "clear plastic syndrome," as the joints and transformation hinges can become brittle over time.
