Optimus Prime's Super Robot Armor

The noble leader of the Autobots, Optimus Prime is a powerful force for goodness and wisdom. In the face of the escalating conflict of the Unicron Trilogy, he utilizes his trailer as a formidable set of Super Robot armor, combining with it to gain immense power and confront the Decepticon threat head-on. This form, inspired by his appearance in Transformers: Armada, represents his readiness to evolve his tactics for the battles ahead.

Announced as a Commander Class figure in the Transformers: Legacy - Evolution line, Armada Universe Optimus Prime is slated for an October 2026 release. As a wide retail release, this figure is not exclusive to any specific retailer. The packaging features a scannable code that reveals character tech specs.

• Core Optimus Prime figure converts from robot to truck mode in 20 steps.
• Trailer converts into a battle station in 22 steps.
• Figure and trailer combine to form the imposing Super Robot armor.
• Includes an ion cannon, two dual-barrel blasters, and a Matrix of Leadership accessory that fits in the chest.
• Weapon accessories can be combined to form a larger super-weapon.

As a modern Commander Class figure, this release is highly anticipated, especially by fans of the Transformers: Armada series. It represents a significant update to a classic and beloved design. While it is a mainline retail release and should be widely available initially, Commander Class figures are produced in smaller quantities than smaller size classes and tend to hold their value well, often becoming desirable centerpieces in collections. Its status as a new mold for a popular character form makes it a key purchase for many collectors.
