Wideload is a Decepticon member of the Construction Team who combines with his teammates to form the giant warrior Constructicon Maximus. Released in 2005 during the later waves of the Transformers: Energon line, he is a redeco of the previously released figure, Duststorm.

Collectibility

Collectors value Wideload primarily as a necessary component for completing the Constructicon Maximus combiner, which was the first "Scramble City" style combiner released in the modern era. While the mold features impressive articulation for its size, collectors should be wary of the plastic clips used for the combiner joints, as they can suffer from stress marks or breakage if handled roughly. As a late-series redeco, he is sometimes harder to find in a complete state than the original Duststorm release, though he is often considered the more "traditionally colored" construction vehicle of the two.
