Storm Jet is the leader of the Air Team and serves as the central command unit and torso for the combiner giant, Superion Maximus. Released in 2005 as part of the Transformers: Energon "Combat Class" (the equivalent of a modern Deluxe Class), he is a reimagining of the classic Aerialbot leader, Silverbolt.

• Torso Mode: A specialized configuration that forms the upper body, thighs, and head of the Superion Maximus combiner.

Collectibility

Storm Jet is highly valued by collectors primarily as the essential component for completing the Energon Superion Maximus gestalt, which is considered one of the better-proportioned combiners of the era. While the jet mode is sleek and cohesive, the individual robot mode is often criticized for its "kibble" and lanky proportions necessitated by the combination gimmick. Collectors should be particularly wary of "yellowing" on the white plastic if the figure has been exposed to sunlight, as well as potential looseness in the combiner port ratchets.
