Windrazor is a member of the Air Team from the Transformers: Energon line, released in 2005 as a Decepticon-aligned repaint of the Treadshot mold. He serves as a limb for the Superion Maximus combiner and was released during the final waves of the Energon toy series.

Collectors primarily seek Windrazor to complete the Superion Maximus combiner, as he is one of the four limb components required for the set. While the mold is praised for its sleek jet mode and poseability, some collectors find the "Air Team" frustrating because it relies on duplicate molds (Windrazor is a direct repaint of Treadshot).
