A member of the Dragonox faction, Dio is one of the most iconic molds in the BeastBox line. This special edition reimagines the fearsome Tyrannosaurus Rex as the Green Dragon (發, Hatsu) tile from the game of Mahjong, representing fortune and prosperity. This creative theme blends a prehistoric predator with a classic game piece, resulting in a highly stylized and unique character.

The Mahjong Green Dragon Dio was first released in March 2018 as an exclusive for the Shanghai Wonderfest event. It was offered as a single figure (BB-01MJ) and was also included in a deluxe three-pack (BB-01FA) with the Red Dragon and White Dragon variants.
