About Dio (Mahjong - White Dragon / Blank / Haku)

Background, key features and collector notes for this figure

Background

A member of the Dragonox faction, Dio is a ferocious robotic Tyrannosaurus Rex. This special edition, BB-01MJ, is decorated to resemble the White Dragon (白板, Haku) tile from the game of Mahjong. Lacking a specific number or symbol, the White Dragon is a powerful and versatile piece, a character trait reflected in this Dio's stark, minimalist design within the broader BeastBox collection.

Key Features

Special deco representing a Mahjong White Dragon (Haku) tile
Articulated jaws for expressive posing in beast mode
Part of a limited Shanghai Wonder Festival 2018 exclusive 3-pack

Release Notes

The Mahjong White Dragon Dio was released in March 2018 as part of the exclusive BB-01FA Dio Mahjong 3-Pack. This set, which also included the Red Dragon (Chun) and Green Dragon (Hatsu) figures, was a limited edition item available exclusively at the Shanghai Wonder Festival event in 2018, making it a rare and targeted release for event attendees and dedicated collectors.
