For the 2023 Chinese New Year, 52Toys creatively reimagined this classic BB-01 mold as Dio Rabbit, a mechanical bunny celebrating the Year of the Rabbit. This special edition swaps the fearsome dinosaur form for a charming new character, complete with a festive pink and white color scheme.

Released in January 2023, BB-01RY Dio Rabbit was a special edition celebrating the Lunar New Year. The figure is packaged in a clear pink 'Box Charger' storage case and includes a transparent pink display stand and a collectible 'Year of the Rabbit' commemorative coin.
