Dio is the original BeastBox, a robotic Tyrannosaurus Rex that established the core concept for the entire 52Toys line. Fierce and iconic, this mechanical predator compacts its powerful frame into a deceptively simple cube form. This Neon Blue version reimagines the classic design with a striking new color palette, presenting the formidable hunter in a translucent, electric hue.
Released in March 2017, BB-01NB Dio Neon Blue was an early color variant of the inaugural BeastBox mold. It was distributed in a small window box, typical of the line's initial offerings. This release did not include the plastic storage case (Box Charger) or character card that became standard with later figures.
As a variant of the very first BeastBox design, the Neon Blue Dio holds historical significance for collectors. Its unique translucent plastic and eye-catching color scheme make it a visually distinct and desirable display piece. Being an early release without the later-standardized accessories also sets it apart for completists.
